Those who know me well understand my deep passion for Apocalyptic/Post-Apocalyptic/Dystopian movies.  I'm not sure why this passion exists, but it is a wonderful trait (IMHO) and something I'm very proud of.  I would define an apocalyptic movie as one where society (or something major) is destroyed.  Post-apocalyptic is a movie where society is trying to rebuild.  There are many reasons for apolcalyptic including disease, technology, weapons of mass destruction, nature, or another force that destroys society.  I understand that people sometimes include zombies and the undead into this group, but I believe that genre of films is completey different.

I thought I'd list the films I currently own and if you know of anything else that is available, please drop me a note.
